ArtInPost 2024

I am pleased to announce that I won third place in the graphic competition organized by InPost 🥉.

The competition was open to both amateurs and professionals in the graphic design industry, and the task was to present their local area. My neighborhood is anywhere I can get to by bike. I live at the beginning of a very popular route from Wilanów to Góra Kalwaria.

Due to the exceptionally low collision rate, the route is crowded with cyclists, both those "on a Sunday" and those equipped with the latest cycling technology and clothing. Over time, several spots have been opened where you can rest and replenish your energy, and the best part awaits at the finish line – Góra Kawiarnia (Coffee House Mountain), a popular meeting place for cycling enthusiasts.

Part of the prize was the completion of the project, which involved wrapping the parcel locker of my choice. I regret that, in a spontaneous gesture of local patriotism, I chose the closest location. This was mainly due to the fact that the competition provided a template that coincided with "my" parcel locker. I think I subconsciously considered this the only solution, since in the design, the eye of the cyclist's large face fell on the panel. Meanwhile, my device is tucked into an alleyway, sideways to the street, and it's difficult to show in photos... but enough complaining. There are also advantages to all this fuss :) My parcel locker is L-shaped, and it turned out, after the results were announced, that a shorter section of the design was missing. And since I already had the prize (and the implementation) in my pocket... I could draw anything! And so, the figure of a runner (that's me) and my wife with her dog appeared.

Below you can see the design attached to a parcel locker. Free 24/7 visits are available at Królowej Marysieńki 90 in Warsaw :)
